"All the ADJ/ADV-COMP" -- equiv "the ADJ/ADV-SUP" or "as ADJ/ADV-POS as"

"All the more NOUN"

"All the ADJ/ADV-COMP" -- intensification

(The “standard” case. Still, this is usually not about simple intensification: we usually have two variables (like in “the hotter it gets, the more tired she feels”), except that the first one, which determins the degree the second one takes, isn’t a real scalar, but has a two-state configuration (absence/presence of a vacation –> “he went on vacation and is all the better for it”). Are all the following really “standard”? see German umso + COMP)

Special (strange) cases
