Hotlinking image and media files, ie providing direct links to files hosted on someone else’s server, is a very impolite thing to do.
If you are the owner of the site that distributes my content: You are free to send visitors over to my web pages and encourage them to download what I provide. But having my images appear on your site, in a way that causes my bandwidth to be eaten up by your visitors, is a breach of the rules of good neighbourly behaviour. In all likelihood, the document you seek is available for download on my blog. Go there, download it, and put it on your own server. And don’t forget to provide proper attribution.
If you were taken to this page because you visited a site that hotlinked my files: Please browse over to my pages and enjoy the documents you were after. If the site that brought you here is reputable, it will have provided a link to the precise page the files were taken from in the first place. You can either follow the link above and search around, or use your browser’s “back” button and try to find the direct link. If there is none, I suggest you keep your distance from whoever brought you here.
